Happy spring Spokane! The Lands Council is excited to share fun upcoming volunteer opportunities! We are celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day the way Lands Council knows best - tree plantings! Please come celebrate Earth Day with us on April 22 at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. 

Celebrate Earth Day with The Lands Council! We will host a fun, family-friendly “Earth Fest” at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, April 22nd at 10:00 am.

This year, we are celebrating Mother Nature with more than just tree planting! We are partnering with Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge and the US Fish and Wildlife Service for a variety of activities. Join us for nursery potting, learning more about pollinators, a nature hike, and planting native trees and plants. Trees will be provided; please bring your own tools if you have them.

All planting events are child friendly with drinks and refreshments provided. We ask that you please bring a water bottle, gloves, and whatever else you need to get dirty and plant some trees!

This winter has been long and beautiful, and we can't wait to reconnect with our community to restore and revitalize our Inland Northwest's forests, waters, and wildlife together. See you all this April!
